TYPE MS32 - COMPACT
ROTATING SEAL

INTRODUCTION
The dimensional data provided may be used as guide in providing proper seal space in new design as well as comparing space requirements when considering the MS32 seals as replacements for other type rotating seals. If the dimensions are not adaptable, we can provide variations in seal length, stationary seat configuration and material to meet your needs. On request we will furnish dimensions for shaft diameters over 1 inch.
MATING RINGS
For optimum sealing and long seal life, NTI mating rings should be used with NTI seals. They are available in a variety of styles and configurations. Consult factory to determine the correct size mating ring to be used with your NTI seal selection.
IMPORTANT: In cases where the mating ring temperature changes drastically, such as dry starting, it is advisable to use a metal mating ring, as ceramic may crack.
GENERAL APPLICATION INFORMATION
NTI type MS32, when coupled with a stationery mating ring, provides for excellent fluid or gas sealing under a wide variety of operating conditions. Features include a positive drive to minimize strains on the bellows during high torque start ups with a notch in seal face to allow for pressure reversals. Common applications include pool pumps, chemical pumps, well pumps, vacuum pumps and small gear boxes.
