TYPE MS9 - COMPACT AIRCRAFT SEAL WITH REMOVABLE COMPONENTS

IMPORTANT: Dimensional location of seal ring face (min. and max. dia.) is to be determined by pressure requirements of actual application and will be within the G&H and J&K dimensions.

"O" RING INSTALLATION
Use of an "O" ring for sealing the outer case of the seal in the bore may be desirable.

Seal must be retained by a flange or other retaining means. The housing diameters may be designed for fits from .005" tight to .005" loose on seal O.D. Minimum radial "O" ring interference recommended is .008". Use of an NTI mating ring is desirable.

GENERAL INFORMATION
NTI type MS9 is a heavy duty seal designed for long life in compact application. Uses include aircraft transmissions, missiles, gear boxes, governor controls and marine applications.
