TYPE MTS7 - FLANGED MACHINE TOOL SEALS

IMPORTANT: The basic purpose of MTS7 seals is that they do not require an additional housing. It may be removed easily for inspection or replacement. These seals are highly recommended for use on machinery where the simplification of replacing shaft seals is a necessity. The ideal rotating surface should be 63 RC hardness or better. The surface should be lapped. This diameter represents the seal contact surface that will be provided for the MTS7 seal face to run against.
GENERAL
APPLICATION INFORMATION
The Type MTS7 seal will provide exceptional
maintenance free service under severest of operational requirements.
It offers positive oil retention means in heavy machine tools,
gear boxes and other types of industrial equipment.
